The practice offers  ZONE VISITS for routine treatments ONLY - subject to booking in time!

Please also note that if there are 5 or more horses to treat on one yard we do not charge a visit fee - this can be booked time specific on any day with any vet (subject to availability)

Zone Visits 

We offer our clients Zone Day visits which are for routine work only.  A £10 visit fee per client is payable in addition to any treatment fees.

No specific time can be requested.  We will text you the day before your visit (by 5pm) to inform you of your allocated time.  A £10 cancellation fee will be charged if you cancel after the times have been sent out.

Zone visits must be booked in advance or by 12 noon on the day prior to your zone day.  The zone days are extremely popular and in order to make them available to everyone we would urge you to book in advance and not to leave it until the last minute.

ALL ZONE visits are payable in advance or on the day by card, cash or cheque. The full visit charge will be applied if your zone day is not paid within 24 hours of the visit.

Please make sure horses are caught and ready for the vets arrival at the specified time, this helps to make sure we can keep to time during these busy days.

Like other schemes there will be conditions that you will need to meet in order to take advantage of these zone days, but unlike other schemes there will be dedicated vets allocated to your zone area so that they can get to know you and your horse to enable continuity of treatment.

This scheme is not intended to replace our standard service and the work carried out on these zone days must be of a routine nature, for example, vaccinations, teeth rasps, microchipping, passport applications and prescription check ups. 

If you need a particular vet to see your horse or need emergency or specialist treatment carried out, you can still call the office and book in the usual way, these will not qualify as zone visits.

To Qualify For a ZONE Visit

  • Booking must be made by midday of the day prior to the visit
  • You must be able to fit into our schedule and be available between 9am and 5pm. Specific times slots cannot be booked in advance
  • The work carried out will be of a routine nature only.  Please advise when booking what work is required
  • Clients must ensure that the office has current mobile and email information as you will be contacted the evening before with approximate visit times

Zone 1 - Tuesday - (NE) North A4/East A34 - DIDCOT, SONNING COMMON, READING, THATCHAM.

Tuesday visit: book before 12 noon the previous day(Monday) Approximate times will be allocated and sent by text or email on Monday evening.

Zone 2 - Wednesday - (SE) South A4/east A34 - NEWBURY, BASINGSTOKE, SUTTON SCOTNEY.

Wednesday visit: book before noon the previous day (Tuesday). Approximate times will be sent by email or text on Tuesday evening.

Zone 3 - Thursday - (SW) South A4/west A34 - HUNGERFORD, BURBAGE, TIDWORTH, ANDOVER.

Thursday visit: book before 12 noon the previous day(Wednesday) Approximate times will be allocated and sent by text or email on Wednesday evening.

Zone 4 - Friday (only every other) from 23rd Feb'18  - (NW) north A4/west A34 - WANTAGE, LAMBOURN, MARLBOROUGH.

Friday visit: book before 12 noon the previous day(Thursday) Approximate times will be allocated and sent by text or email on Thursday evening.
