Louisa graduated from Nottingham University in 2013 and went on to complete an equine internship and then work in purely equine practice in Yorkshire, treating predominantly racehorses. In 2017 Louisa moved to Berkshire and covered Ellen’s maternity leave. She then spent two years working in equine nutrition before returning to McGonnell and Gillatt in 2020. Louisa has a strong interest in equine clinical nutrition, offering multimodal support to horses with problems which benefit from both veterinary support along with dietary or management modification. Outside of work Louisa is mostly likely to be found careering around the countryside on her horse Tom, or taking care of her families herd of cattle.
